I am forever grateful for all of you!

Merry Christmas F.I.R.M.:

I know this is not a baby-Christmas card, but I hope one day I will be able to send you a baby Christmas card. For now, this is with my horse and dog, but I also wanted to write a heartfelt letter to everyone at F.I.R.M. Please share this letter and card with the Jacksonville office as well.

Dr. Winslow, L. Fricke & April – Thank you for always taking the time to review my file, explain things in depth, educate me and respond to my calls/questions in a timely manner. Thank you for taking great care of me during my ultrasound appointments. It hasn’t been easy for me, but your kindness, enthusiasm, positivity and smiles are what helps me keep going and to not give up.

Linda – Thank you for always responding to my emails promptly, always being sweet and kind, and always positive with a smile on your face.

Leah – Thank you for always being sweet and kind with a smile on your face.

Melanie – Thank you for always making my blood draws very easy. Your sweet, positive spirit makes my blood draws less stressful and even painless!

Dr. Gentry, Dr. Erb & Dr. Sundaram – Thank you for always taking such great care of me during my IUIs, ultrasound appointments and egg retrievals. It hasn’t been easy for me, but your kindness, enthusiasm, positivity and smiles are what helps me keep going and to not give up.

Kai – Thank you for always taking such great care of me during my pre-op and post-op egg retrievals for all 3 IVF rounds. When you would wheel me out for my mom to pick me up, you touching my shoulder as you wheeled me out made me feel comforted and safe while I was going through a lot of unexpected emotions after the retrieval. That meant a lot to me.

Maggie – Thank you for taking such great care of me at my 3rd IVF egg retrieval. Your kindness and sweetness made all the difference. Your hug after the retrieval meant a lot to me too.

Karilin (I hope I spelled her name right) – she did my last 2 IV catheters for my egg retrievals and she is my favorite CRNA because she uses Lidocaine which makes the IV catheter process so much easier and painless knowing I have very small and bad veins when fasting. She was really there for me after my 3rd IVF egg retrieval after I found out how many eggs were retrieved. She heard I was in tears and upset and she instantly came to my bed and really hugged me for a while. I needed that and wish I could thank her a million times more because I was struggling that day and with the unexpected news I received.

Everyone is truly exceptional at F.I.R.M. and I am forever grateful for all of you. As crazy as it sounds, I love coming to F.I.R.M because of how kind and caring every single person is. You truly make me feel very important and that means a lot to me. Not every doctor’s office is that way, and it really shows how much everyone loves their job at F.I.R.M. It makes me want to come work with F.I.R.M now! I greatly appreciate everyone’s positivity and smiles even if things are taking a while to get where I need to be. If I missed someone, please forgive me, but please let everyone, both at Tallahassee and Jacksonville offices, who has been with me every step of the way know how much I greatly appreciate every single one of you. While I am taking time to recover and rest my mind and body, I plan to be back in 2026. Praying for positive results and better news in 2026!

It feels like such an honor to have you guys on this journey with us.

I just wanted to send you (and the rest of the team), a little note. I was driving home from the lining check today and it dawned on me, in a bigger way than usual, just how grateful I am to be a patient at FIRM. Shawna, the girls that take blood (and the new girl I met today, super cute), the nurses in the procedure room(s), checkout, everyone who sang little mermaid during my egg retrieval. I mean, honestly, it feels like such an honor to have you guys on this journey with us. And even if we walk away after this round not pregnant, I will not be walking away from this experience empty-handed, not even in the slightest, as getting to know you guys and having Dr. Winslow in my corner (my goodness, who couldn’t appreciate his thoroughness as a Doctor), has been well worth whatever our outcome turns out to be. I appreciate everyone’s hard work, and everyone’s investment into my life. And I just felt like that was important for me to say today. See ya’ll next week.

IVF was worth every dollar, every mile, every second. 

Dr. Winslow,

Infertility started out bitter, but slowly became purely sweet. IVF was worth every dollar, every mile, every second. 

What kept me going in all of this was Dr. Winslow. He is methodical, objective, and incredibly smart. And efficient – oh boy! He didn’t give me time to get down on myself and start the “what ifs” – which is what I needed. He was always 2 (3? 4?) steps ahead which gave me peace and let me trust the process.

From the bottom of my heart, my soul, I am grateful to have found Dr. Winslow and FIRM.

We welcomed our sweet baby on March 11^th. He was delivered by scheduled c-section at 39 weeks without any complications during pregnancy. He weighed 7 lb 1 oz and was 19.6 inches at birth.

Please extend our greatest appreciation to the entire FIRM team for making this happen for us. A special thanks to you, Dr. Winslow, and all of the coordination with Igenomix. We wouldn’t have out son without all of your hard work and kindness!
