What a priceless blessing you were to us

Dear Dr. Kevin Winslow,

What a priceless blessing you were to us – we could never thank you enough. These two kids you gave us are a joy and a treasure. What an incredible blessing they are? They are graduating from our homeschool high school this spring. Not only are they good-looking, but they’re smart. They scored so high on the SAT that they will have a full ride for college. And not only are they smart, but they’re upright, honest, trustworthy, kind, hard-working, and sweet-tempered. You do good work and God did too.

You’d be proud. Thank you for them. Would you be interested in writing down some life advice for them? I know they would treasure it.

We think the world of you, Dr. Winslow, and we will always be so thankful for our kids. Drop us a line sometime and let us know how you’re doing and what you’re up to.

I truly don’t have the words to express my gratitude for all you’ve done for our family. Because of you my husband and I wake up each morning (well, and several times at night for me) and look at our beautiful son. Your kindness, generosity, knowledge, and skill have given us the best gift we’ve ever received. Every day with our sweet son is such a gift, and you made that possible. I had all but given up hope of ever having a biological child. You gave me an opportunity to hope again. “Thank you” doesn’t even begin to cover it, but I hope you know how truly grateful I am for you. You changed our lives in the very best way imaginable!

Thank you for our daughter!

Dear Dr. Erb,

Happy Holidays! Hope you enjoyed time with your family. We have been doing well, our daughter is 2 years old and loves to swim, cook and play. She has become very independent and talkative. 

We returned to RHS last fall, they followed your protocol that blessed us with our daughter. It worked again, until I developed a SCH and miscarried at 8 ½ weeks. I wish that we had your calmness and patience at that time. I remember after our IVF, with no mature eggs at retrieval, you told us that we would do better because we had to. Your confidence led us through that difficult time keeping your persistence as motivation, we just started another IVF cycle. 

Thank you for our daughter! We are grateful for her and you every day. Have a great year!

Dear Dr. Winslow,

We would like to start out be thanking you for being a wonderful doctor. In a time when couples are beaten down, disappointed, and at times feel hopeless you are a sign of hope. The first time we walked into your office, not knowing what to expect, we were greeted by a wonderful staff of smiling faces and sweet words. As we met you hope of becoming parents started to return and by the time we were having our first IUI done we felt as if you were a blessing from God himself. A few weeks later we were so excited to learn that we were pregnant and a few months later devastated at the loss of a much anticipated baby. When we returned to repeat the process you were so kind and hopeful that it would happen for us again and it did. We prayed for those 3 years for a sign and blessing and little did we know that you were a part of that plan. You have been given a gift and you use it to bless other couples with precious babies they thought would never be a part of their lives. The Lord uses you in a miraculous way. You take time to make every patient feel comfortable and valued. Most doctors would have done the procedures and not taken the time to get to know the patient, you don’t. We thank Him for leading us to you and every day when I look at our Miracle baby boy I think of how wonderful our experience was at your clinic through the ups and downs. God is working through you and all of the wonderful people at the FIRM. We will definitely return when we are planning on baby number 2. Parenthood is a dream come true and a gift we don’t take for granted. Thanks for helping our dreams come true!

Dear Dr. Winslow,

I have been meaning to send this letter for months now, but the beautiful reality is that I have been soaking up time with my daughter. A daughter that we prayed so long for. A daughter that wouldn’t be here without you and your team. I will never be able to find the right words to adequately convey how thankful I am for you and for FIRM. You gave us hope and the family we longed for. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Wishing you, your family, and the FIRM family a happy and healthy 2023.

There are not enough words to say to tell you how much we LOVE and appreciate you. You are truly a God send and I’m so grateful our paths crossed. I never imaged I would be one of the many people who suffered with fertility issues but after years of trying with no success and seeing other doctors, my dream of becoming a mother was starting to fade. I remember our first consultation meeting at the office where you told us we may have to do IVF but you believed we would be able to have our own kids. I left the office that day with more hope and joy than I had felt in a while but I also remember being concerned and told my husband there was no way we were going to be able to afford IVF. Months later, we were undergoing our first IUI cycle under your care which was successful but then I had a miscarriage 17 weeks later. We tried 2 more rounds of IUI afterwards that were unsuccessful so it was decided that I needed to take a break….that break turned to about a year or so and I had come to the conclusion that I may never be able to have my own biological children. With much prayer and encouragement from my husband and family, I decided I would try one last time. When we came back to F.I.R.M. for another consultation with you, it was your suggestion we go ahead and do IVF so we started the process. When it came time to decide to transfer 1 or 2 embryos, we sought your opinion and after discussing it with you, we decided to transfer 2 embryos on 5/15/19. Both embryos took and we were having twins!!!

The twins were due January 2020 but we had some complications along the way. At 16 weeks, I was in preterm labor and had to have a cervical cerclage; then I was placed on bed rest with hopes that I would make it to 23 weeks to receive the steroids…We  made it to 31 weeks before I ended up having an emergency c-section due to preeclampsia. The twins were born 11/29/19!!!
